Live a Mouldless and Mendless Life

I refuse to be educated. People grow up and blossom or brought up by somebody. If you can analyse the patterns, people normally claim that they were brought up in X way or with the help of X philosophy. It is absolutely ridiculous and humiliating that a human being should be ‘brought up’. The very difference between the human beings and animals are that human beings CAN use their common sense, which animals never can. The fundamental quality of a human being lies in just this : common sense. Humans are supposed to grow and blossom by his/her own nature.

Bringing up means just that there’s one or more person moulding you. Moulding is the process of manufacturing something with a certain shape and structure. The idea of having a mould is that we want the same form, again and again. Moulding seems to be the work primarily done by education system and the religious system. No body wants you to blossom like a flower because they think you shouldn’t be that way. They want you to be in a certain mould, doing certain things, watching certain things etc. They just want something that’s familiar. They are so comfortable sitting on one place such that they do not want to wake up. If you’re succumbed to that system, you’re moulded. If you allow the human in you to seek and grow, then you won’t and you can’t belong to any mould. You’ll understand that you’re just living life exactly the way it should be lived. Mould-free and Mend-free.

The most powerful and existential difference between human beings and every other creature on this planet is that, human beings do not possess limitations. Human beings have enormous capabilities and limitless possibilities whereas other living beings have their own limitations. Human beings have known the basis of who they are but they are yet to know the potential of who they can be. What you and I have is such a limitless possiblity. But now, societies, families and institutions are trying to define a human being within a particular range of limitation and potential. Human beings are never limited to a range nor can they ever be. That’s the most powerful difference between a human being and other living beings and this is why we are on top of the pedestal in the evolutionary process, yet.

I remember what brought me to where I am right now. I remember everything that happened to me and I remember everything that happened to the outside world because of me. I remember why I said that when I was 10 years old and I remember why I said this when I was 15 years old and so on. If I am experiencing a thought process right now, I can just trace it back to where it all began. As a kid, I had thousands of questions about everything and nothing. I was never able to convince myself that I have found an answer to a question, prematurely – although that is what institutions teach you. I tried to force myself to be convinced of all answers but good god almighty, I didn’t. I questioned the air, I questioned the water. I questioned the sun and I questioned the moon. I questioned my existence and overall, everyone’s existence. When the questions grew multifold and answers barely sought, I happened to meet a few monks and seers who helped me understand that my life would turn into a huge happening chaos because of the questions. I only had two choices then – get back and be convinced OR just throw yourself into your journey and go as deep as you can.

If you don’t throw yourself into anything, you will never know what it is. If you’re not willing to let go of what you are, you can never become what you can be.

Dylan Thomas’s famous poem feels just right to read now.

“Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.”

And Oh well, not sure if you noticed. I said “you can never become what you can be” and not “what you want to be”. Because it is the ones on quest who “want to be something” but the ones on quell are just capable of being almost everything. I don’t want to be anything in life. I am just here to make myself capable of being almost anything that life wants me to be, for I have surrendered to the ultimate.
