They scroll, they tweet, they posture proud,
With decks and dreams and heads in clouds.
“Thought leader”, they say, with zero thought,
But aint built nothin, just talk they bought.

You? You’re elbow-deep in code and clay,
Shipping that mess come night or day.
While they’re busy flexin startup flair,
You’re busy buildin – aint got time to care.

Let ’em laugh, let ’em chirp and pout,
Let ’em run their candy-ass mouth.
Cause talk is cheap, and noise is free,
But silence? That’s legacy.

So here’s your toast, you midnight scribe,
You dirty-hands, no-complaints tribe.
This one’s for the underpaid kings
Crafting empires with duct-taped wings.

When the voices come – internal or out –
Whisperin, “Quit” or fakin’ clout,
Just channel that Dwayne Johnson stare and shout:
“Know your role, Jabroni – AND SHUT YOUR MOUTH!”

Aint no throne for the ones who wait,
Only chairs for the ones who create.
So dont look up, dont seek the cheer,
Your work will echo – year by year.

And when they ask, “How’d you do all that?”
You raise one brow… no need to chat.
Just say it once, without the froth:
“Know your damn role, and shut your damn mouth.”

‘Cause the real ones don’t boast, they build.
And that’s the bottom line… ’cause you willed.

Context –

This is for the ones still building quietly. For those who dont need and chase claps, but chase clarity. For those who’ve had to listen to noise – outward and within – and still chose to show up everyday. I wrote this as a reminder to myself, and maybe to you too: Do the work. Ignore the noise. Keep showing up.
